Building A DIFFERENT kind of streaming service
A global non-profit engaged UNBRKBLE to explore possibilities that would enable the brand to engage its donor community in a new and compelling way. Project Kin is an idea for a faith-based streaming platform that connects mission directly with storytelling and charitable giving.
We leveraged our network of storytellers to develop 20+ potential concepts, created lo-fi mockups of the app experience, and conducted a series of qualitative interviews with 20+ prospective users.
In addition to consumer interviews, we sought to understand the feasibility requirements and potential impact on the organization’s long-term objectives. We conducted deep market research to better understand the current landscape and opportunities for differentiation while exploring a variety of business models. During this time, we identified a potential strategic acquisition to accelerate the path to market.
We used the insights gained from this research (and qualitative consumer interviews) to build a business case that included consumer feedback, differentiators, the investment required, and assumptions as to financial impact.
